Brahma sexing by colour

Am I right in thinking if the pattern is consistent all over the brahma chick as feathers grow through it's more likely to be a pullet? (Excuse my daughter in the pic) very attached to this one!

These are partridge? Than yes I believe so. Males will feather in darker.

I'm thinking its gold partridge but first time hatching so it's a guess all round! Thank you
