Hi and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. I agree that you have two cockerels. The main features to note in this instance, are the saddle feathers (those sharp feathers, pointing downwards the base of the tail) and the pointed hackle feathers (those around the neck). Pullets would not have saddle feathers, and their hackle feathers would be rounded, as opposed to thinner and pointed.

More generally, you'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre - https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you

    All the best

ETA - there's at least one brahma thread you may wish to look at - https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/525544/ongoing-brahma-projects-thread

Thank you very much for your response. We did have a feeling they were male. This is our first hatch ( hopefully of many)

What CTKen said. The size and color of the combs are also one of the best indications of gender, especially in younger chicks.
