You used to see garden spiders everywhere. I carried a stick through the woods when I was a kid, knocking down wood spider webs left and right just to be able to walk. Grasshoppers taking flight with every step you made. Stepping on bees with bare feet. The good old days, when we still had bugs.

3 week old brahmas. Did I really get so unlucky to get two boys ?!

My light Brahma Rooster was my favorite. Alas he is gone. I want another, but I have other rescue roosters and cannot get another while I have them.

I wish! I loved my guy. Now I have 3 possibly 4 roosters ( 3 too many). 3 are beautiful mixed breeds that I can’t find homes for because I refuse to let them end up with someone who might send them to “freezer camp”.
