I thought I attached the picture, sorry. I noticed a few weeks ago she was just laying in same spot all day and didn't seem herself. I thought maybe egg bound but when I checked, nothing. I did not notice her foot then. I thought maybe she was being broody, since she always wanted to lay on eggs but she didn't seem to mind me grabbing eggs or anything... Just kind of a limp, cuddly noodle when I picked her up. Yesterday, I checked her again and noticed this... It may have been there all along and I didn't notice? I am not sure what it is. She will walk around if I pick her up and set her out of the coop. She will eat and drink... But not so much as usual. She didn't come for treats yesterday so that was concerning.Could you get some pics of her leg/foot? Could you also give us more information? Can she walk? Is she limping? How is she acting?
From the picture it looks like her scales came off, right? Is there anything she could have hurt her leg on?I thought I attached the picture, sorry. I would spray it with some vetericyn. I don't think it's a burn, was there anything around that would cause a burn?It kind of looks like the scales came off, yeah. I'm not really sure. I do let them free range a bit sometimes but for the most part they are kept safe in the coop and run. She could have gotten into something when roaming and hurt herself maybe but they usually stay pretty close to homedoes it look like a burn, do you think?
