Brahmas or cochins? or mixes?

The first looks like a splash cochin mix and the lower looks like a light brahama mix.

where did you get them? they both look like brahma/cochin mixes

They came from a lady who was given them away. She said they came from a hatchery, but all of them looked mixed. I only took 3 hens.

hen 2 could possibly just be a pet quality light Brahma

The have alot of the same features, but I can see the differnce.

On the barred one, the bars towards her tail are brown, but the ones on her head/neck are black.
Does that mean anything?
