Brahmas vs. Cochin bantams

Which ones are better overall? I've heard many things about brahmas and cochin bantams. I'm leaning towards brahmas but wanted to hear about them from real people not websites thanks

I have Cochin Bantams, while they are of course small because they are bantams they are very calm and docile chickens. I also have golden comets which are skiddish but my cochins will walk directly up to any person, whether they are a visitor or not. I've also been feeding them meal worms for a good month to a month and a half and they love them, everytime I go to open the bag they run or even fly as fast as they can to get to the meal worms.

I have dark Brahmas and I love them to death. They follow me everywhere and love to fly onto my lap. They are adorable fluffy chickens. I would recommend them to anyone!

Are you getting Brahman bantams? If so I personally would get the cochim bantams yet Brahman bantams would lay more eggs. Either way you cannot go wrong. Good luck!

Yes. My experience with them has not exactly been the best. One of them has been molting for almost a year. Any tips?

@farmerboy182 I wish I knew more on molting but sadly I dont. Is your Brahma older? Because I do know that older chickens tend to take quite a while longer to complete their molt. Anyone else know anything?

@shahtir101 Well the bantam form of any chicken means it is a smaller version of the standard size of the breed. Thus the bantam Brahma is just smaller.
