Layer mash and layer pellets are exactly the same thing. The feed ingredients are ground and mixed. To make mash, they use a finer grind. To make pellets, they use a coarser grind, add a binding agent and run it through a pelletizer. Mash is primarily for layers in cages.They are eating layers pellets as there primary feed![]()
Chickens are omnivores just like humans and can eat anything we SHOULD eat (not anything we DO eat). Tasty things, like fruit and meat are well received.Thank you I will try them I do give them kitchen scraps but I didn't know they liked melon![]()
