Brand new and full of Roos!

from SC... wow you had a bad patch with Roo's.. so far my roos have kept their good personalities.. I have one that is a bit more aggressive..a big LF Cochin.. but not to where he is not manageable. I have a breeder friend down here that has literaly hundreds of birds at time and she had an EE roo who was beautiful but he got a little more aggressive every day then one day he flew up and flogged her on her face... he went to freezer camp.. maybe some just cant handle all the hormones pumping through them? but even though he was beautiful you sure dont want to pass that gene forward... she replaced him with a boy that she had kept as a possible replacement.. he is now very happy with his ladies. and has kept his sweet dispossession..

Now that your a member.. ( you did find your state thread? right? ) find local breeders and dont go thru a hatchery or feed store and you'll be happier.. youll find that chicken people are lots of fun andlove to talk and share about their birds..
