Brand new chickie mama here

Hello! My name is April, my husband and I just brought home 5 new english orpies. We also rescued a rooster from some friends that wanted to get rid of him. It all happened super fast!... we're still building the enclosure, but everything seems to be going ok for now. Any advice is welcomed!

I believe he's a french mix.... forgive me if I get the name wrong. Golden mahorn and a salmon fav again.. I am very new to this. He's a beautiful boy, with gold neck featheres, his body is black that glistens greenish in the sun, and he has some feathers running down one side of each leg.
