If I get it on terramycin and it clears up is it safe to place with my other birds when it’s grown up?Most likely mg from stress from new place
Where do I get testing done and can it wait till she’s better? ( if she gets betterTylan 50 injectable (from feed store) given orally 3 times a day (0.25 ml per pound) for 5 days or Tylosin powder in the water 1 tsp per gallon of water (available online) can help treat symptoms if this is mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG.) MG is a chronic respiratory disease which can come back again latre during periods of stress, and survivors are carriers. Bubbles in an eye, swelling of the eyelid or face are some of the symptoms of MG. You could try and get some testing to confirm.
Nope as there is no cure for mg meds hide symptoms until stress brings it back out againIf I get it on terramycin and it clears up is it safe to place with my other birds when it’s grown up?
How do I know if it’s mg or just an eye injury ? Again she has zero symptoms besides the eye no wheezing no sneezing no breathing difficulties eating drinking and running around just fine etcNope as there is no cure for mg meds hide symptoms until stress brings it back out again
Not all get the other symptoms you would need to get it testedHow do I know if it’s mg or just an eye injury ? Again she has zero symptoms besides the eye no wheezing no sneezing no breathing difficulties eating drinking and running around just fine etc
