Brand New

You should get a vitamin supplement for her. Vitamin b especially. She will grow fast. Perhaps vitamins with help with the speed of the healing.
I just went thru splayed legs this week. Different than your problem. My chick is in a brace since last sun/mon. You don't need a brace though.
Someone will come a round here shortly and give you another opinion. You are doing great though.:)
Here is my troubled baby..

So I know how you feel. Good luck sweety!:)

Birds are incredibly tough. Hopefully with some TLC your baby will be ok.

We have a little Button quail who developed a splayed leg at 3 days old. No matter what brace we put her in she always managed to get it off by the next morning. We tried everything! I'd read that splayed leg in Buttons is pretty much unfixable and a death sentence. Not our little Waddles. She has one leg that sticks out sideways and she hobbles around (not that it makes her much slower than your average Button - she's just as difficult to catch)! And she's recently laid a clutch of eggs that she's sitting on. Unfortunately none look fertile though.

So don't give up on your cutie! I don't think you need to worry about its knees. It's probably resting on its right knee to take pressure off the foot if it's hurting. Poor baby.

The baby chick (Squeaker) passed away at 11:20 pm last night.
This makes my second attempt at rescue and second death.
I'M DONE!!!
