Breaded Squash, Zucchini ?

So I was looking around on Youtube and they got all these recipes where its a variation of thin slicing squash or zucchini. Then you dip in egg, and then in bread crumbs, flour, and or cornmeal. Then fry it up and its supposed to be really good.

Anyway, I wanted to ask if you could also do this with thin sliced pumpkin pieces?

Why not? Try it and see. Report back on how it tastes.

Mmmmm.... add some cinnamon or nutmeg to the flour... or pumpkin pie spice... Top with a touch of butter and brown sugar... Maple syrup... Honey... Dessert!

How long until my butternut squash are ready to pick? This sounds really good to me. Because pumpkin is much denser, it might take longer to cook through and not taste "raw."
