Breakfast skillet, raisins and cat food

Breakfast skillet = eggs, cheese, sausage, rotel, and hashbrowns. The cat food was dry. The raisins were juicy.

The chickens thought it was a wonderful breakfast.

That sounds like what mine had. Except for the Ro-Tel and hashbrowns, mine requested grits, instead(with cheese).

Actually, they did have salt, pepper and butter plus cheese. DH ordered them that way and his eyes were bigger than his stomach, much to their delight.
Myself...I can't stand grits, they're just too gritty.

I think I just lost my Southern Girl Card, didn't I?

I've tried to like them, really, I just can't. Too much like eating sand with butter, salt and pepper.
In order to redeem myself, let me just say, I make excellent fried chicken, fried pork chops, I make a mean gumbo and etouffee AND I can make a great pot of greens fresh out of the garden.
Does that help? Does that take the stain off of my southern reputation?
