Breaking broody hen

You all have so much will power, are not a couple of chicks at TSC calling your name! Listen, I think they are saying, "Peep peep peep, come and get me"
Have entered a TSC once, not impressed,
I prefer small family owned businesses.
The bug did get me a week ago and have decided to add an Olive Egger and a Black Copper Marans.

aart, I let her out of the cage 40 minutes before sundown and she went directly to the nesting box. Took her out, closed the coop and after a few minutes she made a nest under a banana.
Should I let her go on the roosting bar tonight, chance that she will jump down and go into the nest or have her spend the night in the dog cage ?

I keep them in the cage until they're broken. If you feel that is not safe overnight, like the cage isn't in a protected area, then better to let her roost and then put her back in cage the next morning.

I hung the dog cage from the coop rafters and put her in it.
How long does the breaking process usually takes ?

Putting 2 hormonal broodies in the same cage can lead to one getting the pulp beat out of her. It's best to put them in their own cage.
Yes, I would normally just put one in but I doubled up with my Orpingtons as they don’t ever attack each other (even when broody) and with all of them broody it would take weeks to break them if I did them individually. I keep an eye on them for the first while to make sure they won’t attack each other, but I’ve never had a problem with them. I have a couple Olive Eggers I would never put in with another hen... they are vicious when broody... hence why they are never allowed to raise chicks either. My Orpingtons do a much better job and won’t attack me when broody/mothering chicks.

I appreciate all the advise given.
Went to check on her about two hours ago and she was no longer making her kuk-kuk-kuk sounds, she was making her normal sounds so I decided to let her out of the dog cage and watch her. It’s being Two hours and she has not gone near the nesting boxes or attempted to make a nest under a tree.
I think her broodyness may be over.
