Breast blisters and cut up wing tips

Saline to clean the wounds is fine if that's what you have.

She's giving you the stinky eye! You must not be doling out enough treats to suit her😂
I'm still not sure how you could protect the wing.
Is that her elbow or the wing tip? Any bandaging is going to make it more difficult for her to move/walk though isn't it?

Is she getting any pain relief for the Arthritis?
She definitely gets enough treats :lau

It is the wing tip, I don't really know where the elbow is.

For arthritis, I am not 100% sure it is arthritis, I will attach a picture of her hocks from today but the only other thing I could think of is synovitis but that is not it.

In the morning and evenings she gets 40 leg stretches on each leg to make sure they get movement. I give turmeric and shigru, both anti inflammatory, to help. I have been giving B complex because she has curled toes. From morningbird, she gets the arthritis drops but I don't know if those help. Three times day she sits in her wheelchair which has leg holes that let her legs dangle so she isn't sitting on them all day and then I go outside for an hour and hold her so she is in a standing position.

I almost wonder if you could put something like a sock or something over each of them and attach them together across her front and across her back.

She is absolutely precious.
Thank you, she is my favorite :)

I got a no-show sock and tried it. I attached pictures of them. I put them on then put her in the wheelchair. They are pretty tight though. The ends of the wings, the long axial feathers are bending a little. I thought it would work but then they she tried to flap out of the chair and a sock popped off. Then I got her down, put the sock back on, and she plopped down. Then she flapped and both came off in an instant. I thought it would work but pretty disappointed. I will try a longer sock but unless I add a strap, the no-shows will fly off.

The first picture is of her hocks, she has a foot wound so I wrapped it.
The others are of the socks

Sweet girl! Her joints are large aren't they. You are probably right about it being arthritis and age related too.

I'm not sure what else you can do but keep working on different types of wraps to see if you can find a solution.
Maybe someone else will have a better idea.

I love her sweet face:)

Yes they are large but she is the sweetest! She acts like a chick... before her arthritis got to this stage, she would still manage to flap/run to me whenever I squatted down with my arms open for her 😊
I’m going to try a longer sock but what about some bandaid that’s a liquid... is that a thing? And if it is has it been used on chickens? Hmm... that might work

Sorry it didn't work. I'm sure someone will have some ideas.
🙁
I’ll definitely keep trying to come up with some! It was a really good idea. I am also thinking about sewing something for her.

do you think a handmade sleeve could work? I don’t know how to do sew in an elastic band but I probably know someone who could.

I have continued cleaning and putting neosporin on her wings twice a day, no improvement but I bought felt to come up
With a sleeve but now I am using it for her cage.
She sleeps in a small dog cage, not horribly small but a good size for her to feel safe in. The floor is way too slippery for her, she can’t move in it. I decided to use the two felt pieces to make her bed more comfy and safe for her. My only ideas/concerns are:
The felt is a decently hot fabric to use and Eddie gets overheated very quickly. I can put a fan on her, which I usually do so it shouldn’t be an issue but I don’t want her on the steamy felt. Any ideas on a different material?
Obviously when she moves, the felt will move with her unless it is stabilized. Someone brought up Velcro but I’m not really sure on that. Maybe stitch a string on both sides and tie it underneath the cage bottom? I would love to hear your ideas!
