Breathing/Gasping

One of my reds is opening and closing her beak while pointing her beak up and down to the ground. What are your thoughts and options for relief of this condition??Help

It can be hard to know what's going on with her, it would be good to gather her up and examine her more closely.

Well, I'm new to this so I did pick her up witch was very out of the ordinary, cuz I usually can't catch her without a net. I felt her crop, nothing felt off, and into her mouth/beek and saw nothing out of the ordinary either. Out of 5hens she is the only one with this problem. They all eat and drink the same feed and water. The heat could be the main problem. Today was one of our warmest days 95° but it's going to get warmer. I've been trying to keep up with wetting down the ground, paddleing and changing the water 2,3,4 times a day. Cool treats too.

When I first started using this group I was able to participate with photos and videos. Now I can't. Maybe my settings went haywire for some reason.

I'm not sure what's wrong that you can't add photos or video.

How is your hen doing?

I'd check her crop if she's still having troubles.

Not well. Sadly she is no longer with us. I found her on her side in the coop this morning. I think maybe she just gave up. She was struggling with her breathing. Also heat could of been a factor.
