It's been four years now, and this is the first problem with my girls.
So far, it's just one hen (Buff Orp). She is sitting on the deck outside the kitchen with the others. But she is opening her beak when she inhales, and her tail goes down a bit when she does.
I noticed her doing this a few weeks ago, but then she ran off and started scratching in the leaves for bugs.
Eating well, drinking fine, running around just like the others.
Any idea what is going on here?
Sue
