Breathing rapidly

baby chick is trying to hatch made a big hole in the egg about 16 hours ago now it is just sitting in the egg not trying to get out and breathing very very rapidly ? I am worried

Yes but there is obviously something wrong with it , it won’t lay down like the others it’s sitting back on it bum I’ve attached a picture it’s hard to see but he is sat back in his bum and huntched over

See how it does after it rests and dries. Hatching can be physically hard on them and can leave them exhausted for a while.
