I picked up the eggs from a local lady and hatched them out. So she only had a BCM and an Ameraucana rooster, but a variety of hens.

What part of N.C. are you in? Boone? I might know the lady your talking about.

Ah okay! Yeah my older cockeral has some white lacing on a few of his toe feathers but never this much. Since hes been my only BCM I havent really had a lot of experience to compare these guys to!

It isn’t exactly lacing either. The best word I can think to describe it is leakage, but it’s not the same as most leakage. As far as I know, those white spots are common on purebred BCM, but get molted out and replaced with black feathers later on.
