Thank you. I have a red light and will try tonight to get a good picture of the saddle area.My Easter Hatch boys all have their pointy saddles and hackles.
Can you get a photo of the saddle area with your hand or a piece of paper under the feathers so we can see the true shape?
For difficult to handle birds I take photos at night, picking them off the roost and using the flash. A headlamp with a red light doesn't mess up the pictures.![]()
