Agreed! I've always wanted one! And no I haven't seen any eggs yet but she's also been in a makeshift coop (putting a real one together right now) and seemed a little malnourished and scared when we found her. But now she's super friendly and will follow me around. It's really cute!!

Also if your keeping her you need to build a coop and run, get more chickens to keep her company and get some chicken feed.

I suggest you keep her. she seems so sweet!
But you probably want to get her at least one friend to prevenmt lonliness.
I highly suggest another female if you don't want to breed.

And yes, you will need some friends for him. You can search Craigslist for a few pullets or hens. Do you have a coop @Hawksmama09?

For breed, it looks like an Easter Egger.
It's hard to tell age... but it looks like a fairly young cockerel to me. Are you able to take more photos with different angles @Hawksmama09?
