Newbie here! Hi!
This evening friends in my neighborhood found this chicken walking down a residential street. Anyone in OV Norfolk VA missing a member of their flock? This dude is chill, doesn't mind being handled, is confident around dogs, but doesn't seem to know about coops as Dude has yet to go into the coop for the night and didn't understand the fence in the run.
As I'm the only local backyard chicken owner they know of course I'm temporarily fostering this chicken until it's owners can be found.
Can anyone tell me what breed and/or gender this chicken is? It looks nothing like my two breeds, Ameraucanas & Australorp.
This dude is half the size of my 3 months but heavy feeling.

Happy 4th everyone!
End of day 1 of searching for Liberty's, renamed from Dude, owners has yielded no results.
Liberty is definitely a pet to someone though as she has no issues with being pet or held nor has zero fear of my dogs(both of which immediately recognized the chicken house had a new addition and flipped out).
Adding more pictures of Liberty from this morning. If anyone has more I do on breed/gender/age that would be great. For reference the 3 Australorps & 1 Ameraucanas are a few days shy of 3 months. Liberty definitely has way more of a throaty "bawck" sound than my babies, they still like to peep at me and very rarely make any throaty sound. Usually only when the dogs are annoying them or my husband has out the lawn mower.
