Hello,

Our little Eggatha is supposed to be a girl. Hopefully that is true. She is also supposed to be a silver laced wyandotte. But all of her feathers are coming in pretty dark. I am thinking maybe she is a black wyandotte instead. From everything I have read she does act like a wyandotte. It almost seems like the feathers by her chest have a bit of white to them. What do you think? Mostly I just care about her being a girl hahaha. But we are all curious what breed she is now as well. I included lots of pictures from when she was little to now. She is about 4 weeks now.

Yeah, probably a black Wyandotte if it has a rose comb. I can't tell from the picture.

Way too early to sex at this point. About 7 weeks is a good time to start sexing, unless you see redness in the comb/wattles before that, which would mean a cockerel.
