Breed and gender, please?

Was told this is a hen, but now she's kinda crowing. It's not as clear as the banty rooster at the barn, but certainly not like the other hens' noises.. Thanks!

Definitely a cockerel. Does he have feathered legs & what color are his legs... sorry, I can't tell if I'm looking at feathered yellow legs or straw!

Definitely boy. I have two buff Orpington pullets and they have much smaller wattles and combs.

Yes, his legs are feathered. He was purchased in a straight run last spring at Rural King, so he's probably about a year old.
