Breed and Gender

I got these 4/5 week old chicks from a friend and have no idea what breed and gender they are, I'm hoping for hens. Any guesses?

They're too young to be certain but I'm thinking Black Australorp cockerel on the black chick and Light Sussex pullet (due to the bare pink legs) on the white chick with the black on the wings.

The shanks on the white one are very thick so I'm going to be pessimistic and predict 2 cockerels..... but that's really just a gut feeling and definitely too young to tell for sure at the moment. Hope I am wrong for your sake.

Those are close and I agree on the austrlop and Sussex but they could be as well crosses too young to tell
