Breed AND gender!!

Hi, first post but have used the site for many months for the great info

Could anyone tell me the breed and gender of these 2 beauties please:

Barred rock, whiteleghorns and maybe buff orphinton. looks like all ladies .

they all look like Ladies to me

and breed....Barred rock, white leghorn and cannot tell the 3rd for sure.

i am not nearly so convinced. the white legs tell me different on breed and unless they are older than i think, the barred looks a little rooish and maybe the white one (which looks too heavy for a leghorn)

Yeah she's a buff orp. just over a year old and recently broody

. She was my first hen and she's very feisty.

So I thought the BR was around a 4 month old maran, although I'm no where near certain of that age.

I was unsure of the white one. I thought either a leg horn or a coral?? and (s)he's around 4 months old too










Really hope they are girls, but I'm certain that the white one is a roo......just lately she 's been acting really weird.....running around the run frantically and confronting the light sussex. (the youngest girl and around 3 months) and as of last week she's always the first out in the morning......
