Breed and Sex check

They're about a month old. They all look female to me except maybe one of the white ones.

Chick # 1 and #2. I'm guessing splash jersey giant or splash orp (biggest of all the chicks) and barred rock.


Chick #3 rose comb brown leghorn? (Second biggest chick)





Chick #4 no idea


Chick # 5, 6 and 7 white leghorns?

How can you tell at this age if they were male???

They would probably have bigger combs.

they are still fairly young for gender but a guess would be all pullets except for 4 its wattles are already growing and getting red

It's always my favorite that turns out to be a roo. Her comb is the smallest one. But she as the slowest to feather out too so I had a feeling she might be a he.

time will tell. you should know for sure when they reach 15 weeks of age

#3 looks like a golden laced Wyandotte.

that is not lacing. it looks more along the lines of a duckwing coloring
