I think you're right. Meyer has clean and feathered legged golden cuckoo Marans. It's definitely not a Cochin, not with those white legs. It is a pullet. You may want to check that green leg band. It looks a little tight.Could be a golden cuckoo maran, but I'm unsure if they have feathered legs. It is a pullet.

Not a Brahma mix. The pea comb of the Brahma is dominant.hmm... based on the other breeds at the farm then my next best guess is partridge brahma, or still bielefelder but mixed with something else so it's not pure... interesting... I'll have to send pics when she's a bit older to the farmer/breeder and see what he has to say since he guarantees the sex and breed, as long as she lays I'll probably keep her either way, fairly certain she is in fact a she and she is very good with the smaller chicks and everyone gets along well in my flock, thanks!
