Yeah, I thought so! Any reason for the blue earlobe - do you think it's just a mutation? The first one is a Game Hen.
Yeah, she's a bit funny looking. And the blue earlobe did throw me off! Game bantams don't seem to have it, but dutch ones do, so perhaps she's a bit of a mix. That comb is freaking me out. Think there might some melanistic breed in there somewhere, plus that blue earlobe...
Looking at your bird closer, she looks really similar to a Liege Fighter Bantam.Yeah, I thought so! Any reason for the blue earlobe - do you think it's just a mutation?
Oh, wow, I wish. I think she's a little too small and unimposing, though.Looking at your bird closer, she looks really similar to a Liege Fighter Bantam.
She's not standing for scale though.Oh, wow, I wish. I think she's a little too small and unimposing, though.
The attached image shows her next to a standard bantam rooster (no specific breed, he's a bit of a mix, but definitely on the smaller size). The blue earlobe is pretty obvious here, and her comb is a dark pinky purple (mulberry?).
This one is closest to yours, but standard sized. I'm not 100% sure that's what she is, just a possibility.Oh, wow, I wish. I think she's a little too small and unimposing, though.

Hatchery stock and/or mixes are full of little deviations ... and surprises! She's a pretty little lady, though. I think she needs to stay!Yeah, I thought so! Any reason for the blue earlobe - do you think it's just a mutation?
How common are Leige Fighter Bantams? She came from a farm setting. Not a breeder.Looking at your bird closer, she looks really similar to a Liege Fighter Bantam.
I very much agreeHatchery stock and/or mixes are full of little deviations ... and surprises! She's a pretty little lady, though. I think she needs to stay!
