Legbars lay blue.

Where did your eggs come from?

Cream Crested Legbars lay blue eggs. I believe their are other types of Legbars with other egg colors.

I think it's a CCLB mix though.

I just wanted to update, she laid her first egg and it’s BLUE! I’m confident she hatched from a white egg and I still think she’s a cclb mix, but the blue egg was a nice surprise.

I don't have a lot of experience with blue eggs, but when I got a number of them for hatching I found that some of them were so pale as to be *almost* white. (I hatched the darkest).
