Breed ID Please: Beautiful Wild Ducks *Pics Added*

I'm betting the heron will stay and the wigeons will go. For the past three years i have had 2 small crane like birds that i haven't identified that keep coming back and a gigantic blue heron that likes to her off my ducks.

I didn't see the Wigeons today but the Heron was up on the front sidewalk when we came back from the store, lol. it was the first time my sister had seen him. She couldn't believe one would come so close to the house or where people were. of course he flew off when we got out of the truck.

I have a heron that sometimes follows me around the lake. I've known him since around the time he first fledged and came there with his parents. Be careful, though, because they do like to eat little ducks/ducklings and other small birds, too.

I knew there was a reason for the creepy vibes he was giving me!

Thankfully I don't normally let the girls raise their babies free range.
