Breed ID

Somone in my town was trying to sell these on craigslist and are unsure of the breed. I was wanting to know what they are before I buy them if anyone can ID them.

Unknown for sure until they feather out. Many many breeds have the chipmunk stripes.

It is very hard to tell this young. I will say out of the more common brredb, maybe Leghorn?

Possibly an Amerecauna I would ask whoever is selling them. But yes there is lots of breeds with the chipmunk pattern.

The person selling them said they were unsure and I heard at the local Atwoods last week someone mixed up all of the store's chicks so I am guessing they are from there. I think I am just going to pass instead of taking a chance on them. Thanks everyone for the help.

They could be many different breeds. The most popular with that pattern that come to mind are Welsummers and Brown leghorns. @Lauren Adams can't be Ameraucanas, the leg coloring is wrong and the don't have muffs/beards.

Mine had noticeable muffs at three days.
