Hey everyone,
I’m going to pick up these black beauties on Saturday. She said ALL of these ducks were sold to her when they were ducklings as Indian Runners... I’m thinking the black ones are actually Cayuga’s? Thoughts? She’s also stated that one is male and one is female (not yet old enough to lay), but I don’t see a sex-curl on either!
Thank you!

did she get them from a hatchery or from someone who bred their ducks? they could be runner cayuga mixes? but they honestly do look like full cayuga to me as well

drake curls don’t come in until 4ish months old sometimes

I believe from someone that breeds ducks! I have a Cayuga and he got his curl around that time - but I think they appear a little older than that here?

At that age she definitely should be able to tell by quacks, my cayuga drakes are about 4ish months, and 2 of them got their curl but the third has not yet!! Mine sound like little robot bugs!!!!
Beautiful ducks! Where did you get that feeder from!! It’s perfect!
