Breed ID

Look, I would appreciate it if you didn't go through my responses and try to find every mistake I've ever made. If you don't want me posting I guess I'll just leave since I apparently don't know anything.

That was not my intention. I'm simply trying to help you, help people. You do you, boo. :hugs

I don't think that was what was meant. Maybe Colt was a little harsh, but if we don't want people to look at our faults we shouldn't point out theirs.
And there's always more to learn. :)

This. :)

And I don't mean any offense to Colt, either. I agree with both sides - on Colt's, the point that false or assumed "but close enough" info shouldn't be put out there because it can lead people astray, but also that everyone has more to lean and that people should be kind when mistakes are made (not saying Colt was outright mean but maybe a bit harsh.)

Definitely a bit harsh. But I agree with you too.

My goodness this forum is in shambles today.

Breathe people.

Now hug.

How many chickens do you have?
Six. Two EEs (one sold as Ameraucana (not that I was fooled) and the other...oh dear...a Wyandotte.( Also didn't fool me..the "breeder" had no idea what she was talking about) Two Dominiques, and a Buff Orp and a Speckled Sussex. Just a little suburban flock. But if I had more space and let the stacks of poultry books on my bedside table guide my mind I'd have 50 birds, I'm sure.

I have 27 and I wish I had a smaller flock (as I have eggs in the incubator).
