iamcuriositycat, Yes, those look similar to Delbert. I just thought runners were supposed to be UP, UP, UP. My drake is silver, but what actual genetic pattern he is I have no idea. I have several teenage ducksters who look like him though, some with the trout markings I'm sure come from the Emery Pencilled hen. The white one has me stumped though~LOL She/he was born bright yellow and now is as white as it can be. This trio came as chick from Johnson's (?). I bought them from a nearby town after a lengthy search for something as close to breed standard as I could get within a day trip. I was kind of reluctant to try eggs again at that point. I'm so happy to know Delbert IS a Runner duck, but I don't plan to use her in our breeding program.
