I would say cockerel, we have a barred rock pullet and I found out the pullets are much more black, your seems to have a lot of white I’m afraid

The other 7 are definitely black & white, this one is gray & white with a much bigger comb- hence the name Grayscale and the suspicion that "she" is a "he."

Grayscale is a cockerel, and the chicks posted earlier may very well be cross bred.

I hope so... I bought 8 Barred Rock chicks that were supposed to be sexed, but I'm pretty sure Grayscale is a cockerel...

Grayscales a cockerel. Too early to sex the other chicks, but they look like crosses.

He is... barred rocks are so beautiful, especially the Roos!
