Looks to be a Barred Rock. Too soon to know gender

It is not. I have 2 others I am unsure on breed. I will post pictures. They look different from this one. They were hatched at school and a friends son gave them to us. I'll get pics uploaded this afternoon.

I'm curious to know what she is as well. I received McMurray's ornamental layer collection 3 weeks ago and have one very similar to yours.

I was thinking barred rock as well, but McMurray only lists Silver Penciled Rocks in their rare assortment.

Here is another one I have. Same age. (Almost 4 weeks) much taller. Feathers on black legs and super duper sweet. No clue what this one is. Any help is appreciated

Barred Rock, if single comb. Dominique, if rose comb. Pullet.

Is it just me or does it have "puffy" cheeks? It could be a Cochin or a Cochin mix. Also I think it is a possible cockerel.
