Breed of chickens?

I don’t know if my hens are Delaware or Sussex chickens . Been laying about a month. they are laying small eggs. As time goes on will the eggs get bigger? White egg is from the store. This is my Rooster.

but the eggs don’t look like my Delaware’s (the egg labeled Rose).

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!! If they've been laying about a month, I'd say that's pretty much the size they're going to stay but diet does play a part. I keep ours on layer feed with oyster shells on the side as soon as they start laying.

The middle egg looks a lot like my Delaware's eggs. She started out with smallish pullet eggs in September and by now they're reliably med/large. She looks very much like your handsome rooster. A good steady layer and our top girl's "Beta" & best pal.
