Breed or gender? Any ideas?

This is one of 25 Whiting Green pullets we ordered but I doubt this is a WG. It is solid white with yellow legs. I noticed today the comb and wattles looks pinkish. Its tail feathers are already looking a bit different than the others, too. Any guesses.?

As far as the leg color, I see other chicks with yellow legs in your pictures. Are they the same breed, or RSLs? On the comb, it could be a cockerel. On mine, I had a pullet's whose comb did redden early, so it could be a pullet, though I'm slightly doubting.

Where did you get them? Did the breeder have other breeds that it could be mixed with? Or is it the color off setting the leg color? (My white has pale legs though.)

They were from Mcmurray. All were suppose to be Whiting True Green but look nothing like the first ones we ordered last year. These are mostly white. We also have two wynadottes and then four others we don’t know what they are.

Ok. They could be a different strain or from a different breeding flock. You might have to wait until they're laying eggs to be sure.

It could be a pullet, but I think it’s a cockerel.

Whiting greens are mixes and can be variable, so it is a possibility. Or maybe they substituted something else. Maybe Leghorn. I think it is a little too early to sex it accurately.
