Breed possibilities?

Hey all, back again
Just wondering if anyone has any guesses on what breed this guy is ?

He does also have some gold bits along his back and neck that is not visible in these pics, He was from a batch of eggs that were easter eggers, i know that they had sultan and shamo roos and pure hens- not sure exactly what breeds of pure hens but 1 i do know was aracauna

He has Plymouth Barred Rock, possibly mixed with a Rhode Island Red from the gold, would be my guess. Most Plymouth roos are more silver than the hens with more while striping, so I would guess his mom was the Plymouth due to her gene carried to make him darker in pin striped than the typical silver/grey on my Plymouth roos.

If you know this about his parentage then you know that he's a mixed breed.

There's no shame to having a barnyard mix chicken. Hybrid vigor can be advantageous, after all.

True, i didnt even think of it that way damn baby brain i guess i was more wondering what his 2nd breed actually was received a message from his breeders farm late last night confirming that he is an olive egger roo

Maybe cream legbar / BR? He looks like he has that little legbar tuft on top.

Hello. Looks a lot like my hen, she's Cuckoo Maran.

He doesn’t have any similarities with a cuckoo marans that I can see other than his cuckoo/barred coloring.

A Dominique would have a rose comb, this cockerel has a pea comb.

If I had to guess I'd say he's a first generation EE/BR cross.

Except that it appears he has a small crest.

Maybe cream legbar / BR? He looks like he has that little legbar tuft on top.

I could definitely see legbar in him, but he would have to be mixed with something other than BR to get that pea comb.
