breed questions ameraucana

I was thinking on getting 6 ameraucana hens (starting off chicks) and maybe three silver laced Wyandotte hens but was wndering if both breeds temperaments were sweet also it gets pretty hot and humid in summers here in coastal nc and sometimes pretty cold in winter, wondering if anyone has had both breeds and how they think they would fair in them. The eggs are a plus side to having chickens! Other than that they are my pets! Thanks for any info and help

I have a flock of 18 and I have 1 Ameraucana and 4 Silver Laced Wyandottes. I LOVE both breeds and I recommend them highly. They should do fine where you live.

I have Easter Eggers (What the hatchery's sells as Ameraucanas are really Easter Eggers) They are very sweet birds, and fantastic layers. In fact I got my EE's from some friends in E.N.C., so I think they will do fine.
