Breed register?

Quote:
Not really; cats, dogs, horses and other animals with breed regisrty have significantly longer gestation time, and cannot be hatched artificially. A sportsman (typical incubator for those who show) can hold up to 184 bantam eggs. Meaning that in a 3 month hatching period (and many hatch for a significantly longer period than that), one breeder could produce 788 chicks...would likely not be that many that hatched or passed a first cull, but still--that is a LOT of birds to register.

I think most poultry breeders want no part of a poultry registry.

marebear, I am bias obviously and use the service.
All of my customers that have received the certification info really enjoyed having the extra info to go with their new birds.
Sonoran, I agree, too many chickens/possibilities to register individually! The NPR issues certification on group levels for that reason.
