Breed!?

Howdy! I got some great little hens from a lady but they don't quite look like the Barred Rock girls I have! Any thoughts?

Pretty girl! It's not a dominique because it has a single comb. I still think Barred Rock, probably just a bit lower quality than your other ones.

I don't know if you can tell but the first hen (hen in question) has pale pink/white feet with black pigmentation. All my other barred rock girls have bright yellow feet...breed difference?

Given the single comb and white legs, I'd say it's a Cuckoo Marans or a Cuckoo Marans mix. The general rule for barred breeds is as follows:

Single comb + yellow legs = Barred Rock
Rose comb + yellow legs = Dominique
Single comb + white legs = Cuckoo Marans
