*Update* these chicks came from the cackle hatchery in Missouri. Don't know if that will help in identifying what they are. Thank you for all input!!
Hi I ordered rate bed straight run chicks from the chick hatchery (although based in Michigan these birds were sent from Missouri at a sister facility). They are about 7 weeks old in the pics. I have no clue what they are. Here's what I can tell you is they don't seem to have puffy cheeks, no feathers on legs, 4 toes, blue/slate legs. Single comb?
Any help identifying them would be appreciated! My son will be showing them at the fair this year so I'm hoping we won't look like total amateurs (even though we totally are!). Thank you!
