Breed?

guy who breeds hundreds of chickens every breed… he calls them OVO’s but idk i guess there not called that
Yeah, that doesn't make much sense. So if he just has hundreds of chickens without a breeding program to keep breeds separate... Then she's a barnyard mix! A very pretty one! 😊

She does not look like any pure breed of blue-layer or green-layer that I have ever seen or heard of.

Any chicken that lays blue or green eggs, but does not belong to a recognized pure breed, can be called an "Easter Egger."

So I would call her an Easter Egger.
Technically, without knowing any of the other breeds he's got, she would just be a barnyard mix.

In the US, an Easter Egger is a bird that is understood to carry the blue egg laying gene from its parent stock (the Araucana or Ameraucana.)

No, because she DOES lay blue/green eggs. That is all it takes to be an Easter Egger.

I see "Easter Egger" used for any chicken that lays blue or green eggs, no matter whether they got the blue egg gene from an Ameraucana, or a Cream Legbar, or any other breed or mix. (Evidence: the frequently-repeated statement that an Easter Egger can have any feather color and any other traits, as long as she lays blue or green eggs. It gets repeated over and over in threads about "Americanas" that are not Ameraucanas.)

ive never seen chickens that lay as much as these guys which is the crazy part…they’ve laid an egg a day for 3 straight months, one missed a day randomly but the next day was back on schedule..

Wow, that is very good!

I'm thinking someone did some good breeding work with high-production layers and just a bit of some other breed to get the gene for blue eggs.
