A Buff Orpington rooster crossed with a Barred hen would produce chicks similar to those of a Rhode Island Red x Barred hen, so it is possible. However, I think I see some red feathers on him which (I think) would not be possible with a buff Orp. There's really no way to figure out exactly what he is, though, since he appears to be some sort of mixed breed for sure.

I just saw your posts and see that you're from The Bahamas. I'm heading down there in about two weeks time as part of a non-profit organization, and we will be building several coops in Exuma while we are there.
