I feed my poults Turkey and Quail Starter with 30% Protein and my breeders Turkey and Game bird grower at 20% or 22% protein, plus Oats for grain, because I am afraid of the GMO corn in most scratch grains. I also give them Black Oil Sunflower Seeds as a treat, because it does wonders for their feathering, but costs a lot. They also get good pasture of winter rye now and Bahaya and Bermuda in the summer, plus all the grasshoppers and bugs they can catch! I feed back egg shells and they have access to oyster shell. I get hard shells. They also steal any food the cats or dogs leave.
