I do want to say that my flock has not been npip tested. I havent had any incidents and I believe them to be in full health, but I would quarantine him with some corid in his water just to be completely safe. There is a feed store in my town you can get it at.
I do this with every new chicken I get no matter where they come from because when my flock was young I got a new chicken that gave my flock cocci. Of course I treated them and then treated them again a couple months later to be safe. Corrid can't hurt them and doesn't even have a withdrawal period.
The rooster is almost a year old btw.

They have a bunch! If you have a Facebook you can use the search and type in "The Bradley Farm". Once you get there you can look at their pictures and see most of the breeds they have! If you want to know all the breeds they have currently available then you can just ask them.

Although not in Washington, I am close, in Astoria, Oregon. I have eggs coming from Jody & Charles Hinks on Wednesday, 6 LF Lavender Orps & 6 LF Black, cannot keep all & no roos. If anyone is interested let me know & I will keep you posted.
Early victim of chicken math, was authorized for 4 chickens by DH, hatched 2 Chocolate Bantam Orps, lost 1 & on a feed store trip, found Buff Orp pullets. Bought 3, 2 days later bought 3 more, then a red sex link as a friend for the Chocolate, who it turns out does not like chickens. She likes my DH. So I now have 8 chickens out of the approved 4 in my craft/brooder room & about 2 dozen eggs ordered.
I wasn't paying attention.
So extras must go to good homes, not for meat. If hatch goes well these will be beautiful chickens.

Hi everyone!!
I am Naomi at Edgewood Chics! I have a huge assortment of Chicks - some from hatcheries and some hatched by me and friends. My featured breed right now is Sicilian Buttercups! They were hatched on Feb 14th and are feathered out beautifully! I also have been able to identify a couple of boys that snuck in the boxes, if anyone would like to breed them. We are on Facebook with out newest lists of available chicks. Plus if it's not on the list- please ask! I have a few special breeds unlisted. We also have lots of ducks under 5 weeks old right now.
We also run a Facebook page called Western Washington Rooster Exchange- where you can give or ask for roosters. A lot of our customers can't have roosters in the city.
