Breeders Of Stubble Quail (Coturnix pectoralis)

Hello,

Just seeing if anyone on this Chicken forum owns and/or breeds Stubble Quail.

If so...

How much success have you had? What sort of hutch/aviary size would you recommend? Have you had success having them with Kings? How often have yours been laying?

I have heard that they lay most of the year, but with multiple clutches.

I have recently acquired a pair of them, and am exciting to get going!

Hi just wondering if you had any luck with these guys? I'd like to start breeding quail and would like to give these a go because I'm from Australia and I'd rather have native birds than the Japanese ones.
