They've developed tiny mohawks! I'm still not sure if they are going to have partial crests or if the feathers will smooth down once they are fully grown out. They both can fly pretty good now, just like their dad, and prefer to be on my shoulder, just like their dad. LOL They also have these surly looks about them that is, again, just like their dad. It seems that my little Sebright rooster not only doesn't have any problems with fertility but his genes are of the Incredible Hulk variety in strength! They are both still very tiny compared to the pictures I've been seeing around here of chicks of similar age, but they definitely continue to get slightly bigger as the days go by.

Those little mohawks keep getting bigger! I hope they keep them so they have a little more of the hens' features other than being able to talk up a storm nonstop. :D I'm hoping they chill out in attitude like the hens because I just hatched 2 phoenix bantams and they need a flock since the rest of their clutch mates didn't hatch out.

I think this was taken sometime last week or earlier this week

This was taken last night. Their mohawks keep getting bigger & I feel like I should have named them Sid & Nancy. LOL I also hadn't really realised how much they had grown until my Phoenix bantam eggs hatched this week. Frost & Mercury look like Godzilla compare to the newest chicks!
